Learn the basic principles behind residential electrical system design.
Understand the causes of electrical malfunctions most often found in homes.
Identify evidence of hazardous and other adverse conditions related to electrical systems in the home.
Be aware of the obligations borne by inspectors in regard to reporting unsafe electrical system conditions.
Recognize the importance of electrical safety in the home.
