COURSE OBJECTIVES

Understand the causes of plumbing system failures in the home.
Be able to identify what visible conditions represent evidence of the need for repairs in residential plumbing systems.
Be aware of the obligations borne by inspectors regarding the reporting of improper materials, installation, and function of residential plumbing systems.
Recognize the health risks posed by improper plumbing materials and configurations found in the home.
